The FCC EAS Test Reporting System (ETRS) is up and running. The system is for EAS participants to file identifying information, day of test data, and post-test data related to a nationwide test. The ETRS provides several new features that ease the data-entry burden on EAS participants, encourage timely filings, and minimize input errors. Nine states in the western U.S. and upper Midwest will participate in an IPAWS/EAS regional test in June.The IPAWS Program Office of the Federal Emergency Management Agency is conducting a series of webinars in preparation for the June 15th event (rescheduled from its original date of June 9) in California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Wyoming and Washington state. more…
