It’s again time for our favorite SBE get-together at Luna’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria in Clovis. SBE Chapter 66 will host a great Italian dinner for members and guests. This is also the month we elect/re-elect/railroad the Chapter officers. It has been a pleasure to serve as Chapter Chairman, but no doubt you’ll want to see some new faces at the helm (hint-hint), so bring your nominees to the event. Perhaps you would like to become a Chapter officer? It can be rewarding–ask me how I know. Come and join us for great food and fellowship. Bring your broadcasting stories (woeful and wonderful) from 2023 and your ideas and suggestions for 2024. See you all there on Thursday night. Remember we are beginning the festivities at 6PM since Lunas Restaurant now closes at 8PM.
2023 was yet another very interesting and challenging year for all of us broadcasters who are still out there playing radio, TV and other venues. The SBE Chapter 66 officers; myself, Tom Whitlock, Steve Dresser, and SBE Signal editor Dennis Thompson, wish you all a very Happy and prosperous 2024.
