Ellis Terry has been doing RF sales in the West Region of the US since 1998. Prior to joining Nautel, Ellis worked at Harris and BE (Broadcast Electronics) in the same capacity.  Ellis also has an engineering background of 30 plus years having worked as staff engineer, Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering in Chicago, Washington DC, Houston, Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco markets.
Ellis was also SBE certified as a Broadcast Technologist and is a graduate of DeVry Institute, and holds a MBA from Chadwick University.
 

Tom Driggers

Tom Driggers provides broadcast engineering services and web design services.  In addition, he handles equipment sales with RF Specialties of California, in the Central California region, and RF Specialties of Washington, Inc. in the Pacific Northwest region.  Tom’s 35 years of experience in radio and television, began when he entered the broadcast industry at age 13.  From small to major markets, Tom has designed, built and maintained everything from studios to high power transmitter facilities.  He has complete end-to-end knowledge and experience in all functions of a broadcast facility, including building construction and modification, computer/IT, audio, video, RF, preventative maintenance, procedure, documentation and FCC law compliance. Tom has also owned and operated radio stations

Special 2014 NAB Show Update 

The NAB Show opens Saturday, April 5 in Las Vegas and there is much for the broadcast engineer to do, beginning with day one.

The annual Ennes Program, the “opening act” of the NAB Broadcast Engineering Conference, begins at 8 am on the 5th and runs until 5 pm. The program includes a diverse list of topics and subject matter experts ready to make their presentations, with the theme of the day, “Best Engineering Practices.”

Sunday, the BEC continues with NAB EVP and CTO Kevin Gage providing the opening message at 9 am, followed by a seemingly endless array of technical paper presentations that extend through Thursday at 2 pm. Exhibits open Monday at 9 am. more…

Celebrate SBE’s 50th Anniversary at April 8th Meeting and Reception

The SBE will celebrate its 50th anniversary during the NAB Show next month with two events. On Tuesday, April 8, beginning at 5:30 pm, SBE members and guests are invited to the spring SBE Membership Meeting, in room S-225 of the South Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center. The meeting includes recognition of SBE chapter certification chairmen who have achieved milestone services years, updates on implementation of the society’s strategic plan, programs and government

relations efforts and a visual look back at 50 years of SBE history.

 Prizes will be given away, including three $25 dinner gift cards and a $350 gift card to Fry’s Electronics. Must be present to win. The first 150 people in attendance will receive a SBE 50th anniversary commemorative poker chip. The meeting is sponsored by Vislink Broadcast.
