If your SBE certification expired after January 1999, apply to have your certification re-instatednull

Since April 1, 2013, the SBE has offered an opportunity to those who have allowed their SBE certification to lapse to reinstate it without taking an exam. Named the Jubilee Project, in recognition of the SBE’s 50th anniversary, the program ends on April 30, 2014. Those who have let their certifications lapse between January 1999 and January 2012 are eligible.
To apply through the Jubilee Project, applicants complete the Jubilee Project application. A resume or letter addressed to the SBE Certification Committee that describes your experience and the continuing education opportunities within the field you have attended over the time period of your lapsed certification is also to be submitted. For those certifications that require professional credits to recertify (CBNT, CBRE, CEA, CBTE, CEV, CSRE, CSTE, CPBE), be sure to complete the professional credits form part of the application. Record your credits for the last five years (2008-2013). Professional credits do not apply to CTO, CRO and CBT certifications and those applying to reinstate one of these certifications need only complete the first page of the application and submit the letter or resume.
