Solid State Logic  Broadcast Equipment Demonstration Vehicle   –ON TOUR–

The SSL Broadcast Equipment Demonstration Vehicle is a custom designed mobile production unit which is able to handle a broad range of on-air audio productions. The vehicle is equipped with our C10 HD compact digital audio console, our MORSE Router and the SSL Broadcast I/O range. The vehicle is also equipped with a Miranda multivi-vewer video monitor system, full Genelec 5.1 audio monitoring, RTS Comms system, Savant environmental control system and an array of related on-air production equipment. The truck demonstrates the capabilities of all of these systems and the degree of integration possible between them.  The SSL Broadcast Equipment Demonstration Vehicle was designed by SSL’s Project Engineering team, custom built by Shook Mobile Technology and is presented in association with our technology partners; Genelec, Miranda, RTS and Savant.

SSL Audio is bringing their Control Room on Wheels Demonstration Truck to the Central Valley.  It will be at the HomeTown Buffet in Clovis (Shaw and Peach) during the day on April 5th from 11:45am to 2:00pm, as part of the SBE66 March meeting.  We’ll meet for lunch inside the restaurant at noon.  The truck will be parked in the lot outside the restaurant.  You should see it easily when you arrive.

 

Here’s the rundown on the truck itself from the folks at SSL:
SolidStateLogic (SSL) is excited to announce the arrival our brand new Broadcast Demonstration Vehicle. The centerpiece of the truck is our latest SSL C10 HD audio console. In addition to the C10, the truck is presented in association with SSL’s technology partners: Miranda – Kaleido-X16? multi-viewer and Densité processing, RTS – AdamM intercom system , Genelec – 8020.LSE Espresso 5.1 surround monitoring system and Savant – True Image interface handling the vehicle’s lighting and video switching.
The truck is very comfortable, modern, fully self-contained, and makes an excellent cup of coffee, along with fresh pastries.
