Hello Fellow SIP’s (Shelterer in Placer’s): As you may have guessed, The on-again, off-again, stay-at-home mandates and the ever changing COVID-19 tier assignments have made it impossible to schedule any sort of gathering of the masses for our annual Pizza Bash.

So, this Thursday (January 28th) at 7PM, call your favorite home-delivery pizza place, or toss that Boboli pizza crust in the oven covered with your favorite toppings and join the SBE66 gang for an on-line ZOOM gathering. One thing I can guaranty is that you will not have the usual search for a close-by parking spot. You may however, have to fight the pooch for the comfy chair in front of the computer screen once he/she smells the pizza. Assuming we have a quorum, we will also have our officer elections for 2021. It has been a pleasure to serve as your chapter chairman, but understandably a bit disappointing that we did not get to participate in many of our usual activities and programs due to the pandemic restrictions. I hope you will be able to take some time Thursday evening to stop by and join in the ZOOM gathering. You should be receiving an email with the link/password to the event. Remember, the pizza is on US–no wait, it’s on you. . . or maybe you’re having hamburgers. This Covid thing really has me vexed.
