JAIME GONZALEZ
Greetings to all SBE Chapter 66 members and non-members alike. Welcome to 2018. For those who may not know me, I am Jaime Gonzalez, C.E. for KNXT-TV Ch49 Fresno/Ch38 Bakersfierld(affiliate of Catholic Television Network).
I am happy to serve as the Chairman for this year. Thank you for electing me as Chairman along with my Co-Chairmen, Ken Preston-welcome back to Fresno Ken!
I am sure for some of you TV folks, that you will be busy with the upcoming FCC Repack. As of this writing, we have until November of this year to get on the new assigned channels.
Another project currently on our list is the updating of the Local EAS Plan for the San Joaquin Valley. I will be working on this with the local EAS committee members in the near future.
Thanks to Ken Holden, our retiring Chairman, for all the years of dedication to our SBE Chapter. I’ll be seeking his expertise in getting presentations for our upcoming meetings. It’s always great to see what new technologies our vendors and manufactures have available and I hope to get them to showcase their products at future SBE gatherings.
I will see you all at our meeting this Thursday over at the old HomeTown Buffet location in Clovis on Shaw Avenue. It’s now a Mongolian BBQ Buffet, should be interesting and tasty!
