SBE to Recognize SBE66 Certification Chair Michael Feist for 30 Years of Service
The SBE functions because of its multitude of volunteers. While there are seven employees who work at the National Office, the real momentum of the SBE is the result of those who dedicate their personal time to further the goals and objectives of broadcast engineering through the SBE. This includes, but is not limited to, the Board of Directors, all the various SBE committees in addition to the Certification Committee, and the local chapters including the chapter certification chairs.

Every year at the annual membership meeting during NAB Show, the SBE recognizes the local certification chairs who devote volunteer time to the Program of Certification. These local certification chairs receive plaques on the recurring five-year anniversaries. The SBE thanks all the volunteers who devote so many hours to the SBE and the certification program. Michael Feist is the Certification Chairman for SBE66 Central Valley Chapter. He will be receiving an award for 30 Years of continuous service to the Chapter–Congratulations Mike!
The annual SBE Membership Meeting will be held at the 2017 NAB Show on Tuesday, April 25, at 5:15 p.m. in Room N256 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
