Our last official 2016 gathering of the Central Valley Chapter 66 SBE group will be Thursday December 29th. Join us at the new Mitsui Buffet location in Clovis for the lunch meeting which begins at noon.
Any frequency coordination issues are always welcome at this time. We will be addressing the necessity to change the night time, last Tuesday of the even-number month required Monthly Test (RMT) transmission time from 1:50 AM to 4:00 AM to accommodate scheduling of engineering personnel to run the test.
Included in this Newsletter, you’ll find information on the Society of Broadcast Engineers upcoming Webinar series addressing the basics of RF fundamentals for Broadcasters. It’s open to members and non-members and is targeted to those with minimal or no background in RF and those who are relatively new to the field. It will also serve as a refresher for more seasoned engineers. SBE members whose dues are current can register for SBE on-demand webinars at 20% off the regular registration price through Monday January 2, 2017.
