Participants from the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF)Technology Apprenticeship Program (TAP) will host a free webcast on how technology advancements impact the future of broadcast engineering. The webcast will be held live from 9-10 a.m. ET and again from 2-3 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Topics will include: Understanding Digital Radio, covering some of the concepts and best practices of digital radio and the complexities of adding digital services, and HD to 3D: The Future of Broadcast Television. This portion of the webcast will discuss updates for standardizing 3D television, the pros and cons for HD vs. 3D and new technology proposals. Registration is required to attend the free webcast.
