Still Time to Register for the Advanced IP Networking Webinar

Thursday, January 30 is the SBE Advanced IP Networking webinar.

Wayne Pecena, CPBE, 8-VSB, AMD, DRB, CBNE will present The Network of Networks. The webinar builds upon the fundamentals of IP Networking presented in earlier SBE IP Networking webinars.

The ninety minute webinar begins at 2 pm ET and will focus on implementation of multiple, isolated but structured networks built on a common physical infrastructure. Examples of isolated networks used in the webinar will include performance, security and policy factors that may be used in implementation decisions. Implementation examples will use actual network equipment configuration.

Prerequisite Knowledge– Attendees should have knowledge of IP networking concepts that includes OSI Layers 1-3, Ethernet switching, IP routing and VLAN principals.

Pecena is director of engineering at Texas A&M University and is responsible for leading technology implementation for the enterprise network of the Texas A&M University System, supporting over 150 IP data locations and over 350 videoconference sites within Texas and internationally.
