WOW!  This is the longest Indian Summer I can remember.  We usually have some snow at our higher transmitter sites by now, but not this year.  I’ve been able to take advantage of the good weather at a couple of our sites, (Meadow and Blue Ridge) to get some outside projects done. I was finally able to install a GPS 10Mhz standard  to keep my Diamond transmitters dead on frequency.
The beautiful weather later than usual has made climbing around outside a lot easier than expected for mid-November.  Now that we’re ready-we are ready aren’t we?, let it snow!  There really needs to be much more wetness this year so we don’t all blow away next Summer.

Our November meeting is a week early due to Thanksgiving, but we’re all used to that. The luncheon meeting will be hosted by Carl Hicks of JVC fame. The program will be on JVC’s camera line-up, with the main emphasis on the GY-HM650U Mobile News Camera. This baby has some really cool features. I’m sure you won’t want to miss this gathering at the Hometown Buffet in Clovis….See ya there!
