Alas… spring has sprung! While spring is a sign of new life springing from the earth, in this area, it’s all too short usually jumping into ‘Hot Summer Nights‘ before we can get used to the nice spring weather. This is also the time of the year that we look forward to ‘spring cleaning‘ at our mountaintop resorts we call transmitter sites. At least it’s a good excuse to get out of the office and enjoy the mountains, unless you have a site like Chris Connley at Breckenridge. No spring over there as it’s still laden with the white stuff. For Chris, it’s still hard work just to get up there.
This month’s meeting will feature Arnold Taylor of Digital Broadcast, speaking on IP Workflow – Taking Multicasting to the Next Level. This should prove very interesting as most of us are involved with getting content moved around via IP. We will be at the Hometown Buffet in Clovis at Shaw and Peach, this Thursday at noon for the hosted lunch presentation… See you there.
