The Federal Communications Commission has launched a new website promoting its planned spectrum incentive auction.
The website is part of the FCC’s Learn Everything About Reverse-Auctions Now, or “LEARN” outreach program. The site was billed as “a one-stop information resource for incentive auction stakeholders, particularly the nation’s broadcasters”.
Below are photos of the tower mishap at K100FM (Classic Rock), when a delivery truck apparently hooked one of the guy wires on the tower.
The station was able to set up a low power transmitter and temporary antenna by Friday morning December 7th.
Don’t feel so bad if your station ad revenues are a bit lighter after the election. According to recent published reports, Clear Channel is reporting about five billion dollars of debt. Panasonic posted an 8.8 billion dollar loss—not good for the company stock.
