DIGITAL BROADCAST

Presentation and Hosted Lunch

at the Clovis HomeTown Buffet

 IP Workflow
Take Multicasting to the next level with DBI’s MediaFire IP solution

Presented by ARNOLD TAYLOR, VP Western Area Digital Broadcast

IP Worklfow – Take multicasting to the next level with DBI’s MediaFire IP solution. The only complete IP system of its kind, the MediaFire IP will automate, conform, manage, splice, playout, and monitor your station signals.
MediaFire IP allows stations to supplement additional channels with no additional hardware. IP workflows give stations the utmost in on-air control. MediaFire IP
supports MPEG2 and MPEG4 compressed ASI transport streams and video over IP as SPTS and MPTS.
Digital Broadcast’s MediaFire IP playout provides multichannel splicing of MPEG2 and MPEG4 media for direct feeds to cable or a transmitter. The MediaFire IP maintains the streamed MPEG network so that no baseband switching or keying is required. An IP multiviewer completes the suite for easy
monitoring of content anywhere in the plant.

Arnold Tayor has been with Digital Broadcast going on 10 years, first as an Area Manager for the Southwest based in Plano, TX and now a VP of the Western Area including the Southwest and Western Regions. Arnold is currently covering the Western Region in the absence of a Western Regional Manager.  Previously, Mr. Arnold worked for Ampex for over 13 years as a field service engineer, sales engineer, product manager, Manager of Product Management, and National Sales Manager.  In addition, he was the first VP/GM of Sony Broadcast, VP Worldwide Marketing RCA, Group President, Compact Video, President, CEO Quanta, President, CEO Rank Cintel.

–Your chance to see Arnold Taylor’s presentation on IP workflow is Thursday March 28th at the HomeTown Buffet in Clovis.  This hosted lunch presentation from Digital Broadcast Inc. is the March meeting for Central Valley SBE 66.
