SBECMACbuildingCMAC is a membership-based, non-profit corporation created to help local organizations, independent producers, non-profits, schools, public agencies and others better connect with our community through the use of media – primarily television and the web.

The Community Media Center is located in the Fresno Met building in downtown Fresno (map). This modern facility features a spacious 900 square foot production studio, private editing suites, meeting rooms, classroom space, and a computer lab, along with a variety of portable production gear. It also houses our automated broadcast center, which delivers programming to CMAC TV channels on Comcast, AT&T U-verse, and the Internet. The Media Center offers a full range of production tools and training at low cost to community users in Fresno and Clovis allowing organizations and independent producers to create their own TV programs and web content. CMAC also operates three television channels on Comcast and AT&T U-verse available for local organizations and independent producers to air programs they create.

Gary Cocola was a forty-year veteran of radio and television when he decided to create an independent television station which would offer viewers local and alternative programming.
